There is Grace and Space For You Here

we're always going to remind Black women that they are more than enough. & that's what you gotta know!
Why us?

Black women are impacted
by violence at disproportionate rates.
Black women disproportionately experience violence at home, at school, on the job, and in their neighborhoods. Black women face high rates of intimate partner violence, rape, and homicide. Black girls and women also experience institutionalized racism; they are disproportionately punished in school, funneled into the criminal justice system after surviving physical or sexual abuse, disproportionately subjected to racial profiling and police brutality, and incarcerated at rates far exceeding their share of the population.

About us though!
For Black Women is a transformative social wellness community passionately dedicated to empowering and supporting Black women who have endured the harrowing impact of domestic violence and racial trauma. We recognize that the historical trauma endured by Black women and the persistent challenges of pay inequity have created a complex web of intersecting struggles that demand unique and culturally specific resources. At For Black Women, we are committed to breaking the chains of silence and providing a nurturing and empowering space where Black women can find healing, growth, and renewed strength.

Our Mission:
Sisterhood as a Radical Act of Resistance
Our mission at For Black Women is to amplify the voices of Black women who have experienced harm at the intersections of race, class, and gender while navigating the harsh realities of domestic violence and racial trauma. We stand as advocates, working tirelessly to end all forms of violence against Black women and promote healing within a supportive sisterhood. Rooted in faith, we believe that sisterhood is a radical act of resistance, capable of cultivating true unity, compassion, and resilience among Black women.

Our Vision:
Sisterhood Heals
Our vision is a society where Black women are loved, respected, and protected, breaking cycles of trauma and abuse. We envision a transformative sisterhood that catalyzes growth and healing, shifting narratives and dismantling systems of oppression.

The most respected person in America is the Black woman
The most protected person in America is the Black woman
The most cared for person in America is the Black Woman
Far too often Black Women are ignored just to be duplicated. silenced just for her words to be amplified through someone else. sought after just for diversity clout. it's time for us to take our power back.

It’s time to revolutionize your healing, wellbeing, voice, body, career, workplace, relationships, and self-care. It’s time for you to level up!
